Thanks to the excellent characteristics of cast iron and its special surface structure, heat is retained and distributed efficiently. The pre-treated surface (culotte) makes an initial culotte unnecessary, and the sturdy cast-iron kettle can be used immediately. Outdoors, it can be used over an open fire or with coal and briquettes. Thanks to the raised edge of the lid, coals and embers can be easily placed inside. The pot is heated from all sides, making it ideal for baking bread, for example.

The kettle is equipped with refined features that make it easy to use and provide a unique culinary experience. A sturdy handle allows you to lift the pot safely, and a thermometer hole lets you check the temperature without having to lift the lid. And lifting the lid when it's hot couldn't be easier, thanks to the Petromax lid lifter. Another original detail: once turned upside down, the lid can be used as a frying pan. In addition to all these thoughtful details, the kettle remains true to the classic Petromax design: the lid is adorned with the elegant dragon logo, always a symbol of superior quality and top-of-the-range products. From soups and meat dishes to stews, soufflés and even cakes, everything can be prepared perfectly in the cast-iron kettle.

The Petromax Cast Iron Pot is available in several sizes, so you can choose the one that suits your recipe or number of people. The ft0.5-t has a capacity of approx. 0.56 liters. This makes it ideal for preparing sauces and desserts. For the Petromax Cast Iron Pot, other accessories are available in addition to the Lid Lifter, such as the Transport and Protection Bag, Maintenance Paste or Cast Iron Cleaning Utensils. In addition, we offer cast-iron trivets and grates (from ft6 upwards), for frying and simmering without burning.
