The stackable, solid cast-iron grid provides excellent heat distribution - just what you need for multi-level baking, steaming and cooking in the pot. This utensil stands on three 4.8 cm long feet, giving you the ideal distance from the bottom of the pot, so you can cook meat, vegetables and cakes without burning anything. The stackable grid fits perfectly into ft4.5 cast-iron kettles and all larger kettles. You can use the grid right away, thanks to the so-called "culotte" - you don't need to culotte it.

In the pot, on the stove or as a trivet
To steam in a cast-iron pot, a grid must be placed over it, or two grids can be stacked on top of each other. If the grate is placed directly on the coals, it leaves the perfect grill mark on your meat in no time. Or place the stacking grid in the fire and use it as a surface for percolators, kettles or footless pots. On a table, it can also be used as a practical trivet for a hot dish.
