OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS :
- Pressing the knob closes or opens the door.
- The turning knob locks automatically as soon as the deadbolt is completely unscrewed or screwed in.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :
- Remove armrest.
- Unscrew the screw using a Torx® TX 30 wrench.
- Remove the base plate from the fitted lock. To prevent flying parts from getting lost, pull out the lock completely and press the base plate onto the other side with the lock by unscrewing the 2 screws.
- Position the HEOSafe® 12646 lock base plate in the armrest and secure the plate with the supplied screw (5 mm Allen® key).
- Position the lock on the base plate and re-fasten with the 2 screws. Make sure the guide pin with the large spring slides into the hole in the base plate.
- Then position the lock (mounted on the plate) perfectly in the armrest and drill the pilot hole in the armrest using a 2 mm drill bit.
- At the height of the lock, press the rubber gasket into the gap between the B column and the B column cover.

WITH ADD-ON PART

At latch height, push the rubber gasket of column B between the edge protection and plastic covering. Position the add-on and secure it to the B-pillar lining with the screws. If, when closing the lock, the bolt cannot be fully extended (i.e. the lock cannot be closed), cut the inner contour of the part out of the rubber.

For a well-installed assembly, you can cut the rubber on top and underneath the part, up to the edge of the lining.

You can also use this part for the Fiat Ducato 250 (2006-2013). ÜBERSETZUNG FRANZÖSISCH: Bitte zuerst prüfen, ob der Abstand zwischen Kederprofil und Schloss 5 - 6 mm beträgt. Here you cut the outer contour of the part in the rubber up to the edge of the lining.

By cutting the inner contour (Fiat Ducato 250 / 290, 2014 - ...) and outer contour (Fiat Ducato 250, 2006 -2013) you obtain a free space in which the bolt can engage more deeply. Existing stability is further enhanced.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR VEHICLES with REMIS IV sun visor
- Cut the cutting template (right or left-hand version).
- Position the template on the REMIS IV frame. The two arrows must match the cracks in the armrest.
- Secure the template with a sticker. There must be a 90-degree angle between the top edge of the template and the frame.
- Using a Dremel® saw blade (max. 20 mm), cut the outline of the line on the template. This process avoids the need to dismantle the REMIS IV.
- Now remove the armrest part (remove it with a flathead screwdriver) and continue with assembly as shown on page 12 or 13.


ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS VOLET-DOMETIC-SP300 :

On the shutter-DOMETIC SP300, the shutter mounting hole is on the line of the cut-out pattern. This is usually cut below the screw. If possible, and if there is room to manoeuvre, move the shutter slightly upwards. In this way, the screw location remains intact. If this is not possible, make sure that screwing remains possible, even if part of the screw location is cut off. The location cap should also be adjusted (sanded) and fixed in place with adhesive.
