X-COVER 2.0: THE LONG-AWAITED NEW VERSION OF THE X-COVER.

With a new, more elegant design and a more pleasant experience thanks to the changes made, here's the X-Cover 2.0 model that many of you have been waiting for.
Mount your favorite equipment on the roof bars, and save space in your vehicle. X-Cover 2.0 roof bars are compatible with most accessories (ski racks, bike racks, etc.).

  • Sleeps 3-4 people.
  • The X-Cover 2.0 design replaces the soft PVC shell of traditional roof tents with a sturdy Rocky Black shell and durable, waterproof canvas.
  • Built to last: made from top-quality materials, carefully assembled so you can enjoy your tent for years to come. Double-layer fiberglass roof, honeycomb aluminum, breathable canvas, eco-friendly rain fly, etc.
  • Comfortable: 70mm-thick mattress. Sleep as well as at home!
  • Optimized ladder: 230 cm ladder. Can be installed up to a roof rail height of 217 cm.
    Ladder steps parallel to the ground, for greater safety and comfort.
  • Rocky Black: coating to protect your hull from scratches and/or UV rays.
  • Improved version of a patented, award-winning design(Honorable Mention, Red Dot Design Award 2019; Winner Overland Journal Editor's Choice Award 2019).
  • Windows/doors on all sides of the tent as well as a double Velux Skyview that offer panoramic views.

- EXTERIOR :

  • Color: introduction of iKamper brand colors (dark gray, light gray and burgundy).
  • iKamper 3.0 fasteners: now compatible with thicker, lighter crossbars and with rubber protectors to protect your roof bars. Height/thickness: max 5cm, Width: max 15 cm.
  • Rocky Black fiberglasscoating on the top panel offers extra resistance against scratches, knocks and UV rays.
  • Easy-open system replaces the zipper: an easier-to-use solution.
  • Rear window: can be zipped down for protection against strong winds or simply for faster installation.
  • Side windows: now installed with a single tensioning rod, offering improved aesthetics and greater wind resistance.
  • Tension rod receivers have been relocated for easier access.
  • Double roof: waterproof ripstop material.
  • Ladder: easily removable/replaceable thanks to its new brackets.

- INTERIOR :

  • Storage: keep your sleeping bag inside your tent when you close it. The X-Cover can be closed with 3-4 sleeping bags inside.
  • Mattress redesigned for a cozier, more comfortable feel.
  • Thickermattress (7 cm) with insulating layer.
  • Double Velux Skyview windows for plenty of light, excellent ventilation and a view of the stars.
  • Windows: The new design allows the screen and canvas to be opened and closed in a single operation. Side awnings also fold down much more easily.
  • YKK zippers: stronger and more durable on the Skycamp's main entrance.
